By nature boats live in a harsh environment, with the elements of salt water and sun amongst other factors having a damaging effect on interior and exterior surfaces. To protect their investment owners have to commit to a regular and planned maintenance and service program, tasks that if undertaken regularly and professionally, will ensure their boat remains spic and span and in pristine condition. Extremely important when it comes to maintaining the value of the asset and for re-sale.

Here is an outline of the services we offer as part of our Exterior Detailing program.

Understanding Your Needs

Every client has different requirements and expectations when it comes to the detailing of their boat. Initially we will meet with our clients to walk through their specific needs, we will identify and discuss additional issues we recognise or services we recommend, then we establish a tailored detailing program for their boat.

Some of the services you can expect as part of our Exterior Detailing Service will include a Standard Detail, or if you’re looking for a more complete finish our Handover Detail covers all that you will need. Noting again that we will always work with our clients to determine exactly what they want and need for their boat.

Standard Detail

Washdown of both sides of the hull
Everything removed from lockers, washed down and returned.
Cushions, covers and fridges
Open and clean all hatches
Teak treatment
- Part A & B treatment
- Chemical clean if required
Stainless polish and treatment

Handover Detail

Identify works required
Sand gelcoat or paint, if required
Machine compound gelcoat
Remove stains from covers sealing the surface and cleaning of clears
Steam clean of exterior cushions
Compound clean of windows and apply ceramic coatings
Teak sanding and finishing
Clean engine room and bilges
Mould removal
Plus all items included in the Standard Detail
