About Tony & Mel

Tony’s career background has seen him endure the very tough and disciplined world of professional cycling in which he was a multiple National Champion and World Road Championship silver medalist. After retiring from professional sport at a relatively young age Tony followed his passion into all things marine and in the last 15 years has made a name for himself as an uncompromising perfectionist in everything from painting and detailing to marine carpentry.

Tony prides himself on applying that same level of discipline and attention to detail to the entire DBM team. Making no apologies when it comes to running the DBM team more like a high level professional sporting team than a business.

Melanie also hails from a sporting background and spent her early years as high level junior surfer later transitioned into the world of super yachts in which she spent years honing her craft in all areas of marine management.

Melanie’s ability to run large scale operations seamlessly puts her in a class of her own. Wether it’s a major corporate event or managing one of the leading yacht manufacturers boat show displays, the client list and results speak for themselves.
